An apparatus for preventing a lid lifter from falling from a charging car in a coke oven facility is provided to prevent the lid lifter from falling from the charging car when a rod of a vertical cylinder for lifting and lowering the lid lifter vertically is cut. An apparatus for preventing a lid lifter from falling from a charging car in a coke oven facility comprises: a vertical support(20) horizontally moved along a horizontal support(10) installed on the charging car; a vertical cylinder(22) mounted on the vertical support; a slider(24) which is connected to a rod(22a) of the vertical cylinder such that the slider moves up and down along the vertical support, and which supports the lid lifter(30); a stopper(40) fixed to the slider; an auxiliary cylinder(50) which has a rod(52) that is disposed on a descent path of the stopper and moved up and down, and which is fixed to the vertical support; and hydraulic pressure supply hoses providing the vertical cylinder and the auxiliary cylinder with hydraulic pressure to drive the vertical cylinder and the auxiliary cylinder.
