<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly detect a commodity price of a commodity without keeping a customer waiting in the front of a POS terminal or the like. <P>SOLUTION: Based on position information of the commodity kind of a search-requested commodity and position information of portable terminals carried by staff persons within a store, a search staff person detection means 14 detects a search staff person who should search the commodity price of the commodity because he/she is closest to the position of the commodity kind of the search-requested commodity. A commodity price acquisition means 15 acquires identification information of the search-requested commodity from the portable terminal carried by the search staff person, and acquires the commodity price of the search-requested commodity according to the identification information.
