<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the occurrence of a preignition having adverse effect on operation in a supercharging gasoline engine, for example. <P>SOLUTION: The control device (100) controls adjustment mechanisms (300, 21) capable of adjusting a relative ratio between a torque and rotational speed of an internal combustion engine. The control device (100) is equipped with a detecting means for detecting the occurrence of a condition having adverse effect on the operation of the internal combustion engine and in which the easiness of the occurrence varies according to a value of the relative ratio, and a control means for controlling the adjustment mechanisms (300, 21) so that the relative ratio is varied to a side where the above condition hardly occurs when detecting the occurrence. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
