<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction of performance small while suppressing heat generation of a heat generating device. <P>SOLUTION: A power consumption value and a temperature value of a processor are periodically measured to the heat generating device incorporating a processor allowing a change of a maximum power consumption value. When a value representing the set of the plurality of measured power consumption values exceeds a prescribed threshold value and when the temperature value exceeds a prescribed value, it is detected that a high heating-value state of the processor continues over a prescribed time, and the maximum power consumption value of the processor is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
