<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-board radar device capable of capturing a target precisely by pairing of target data based on determination of continuity between the last target data and the present target data. <P>SOLUTION: As a frequency-modulated continuous wave (FM-CW) on-board radar device, the on-board radar device has a continuity determination means determining the continuity between the last target data detected and the present target data based on conditions in terms of a range difference to the target, relative velocity difference, and lateral position difference, the on-board radar device determining, the continuity based on conditions whether the targets at previous time and at this time satisfy a lateral position difference or angular difference, in addition to determination conditions for a range difference of the target and a relative velocity difference, when the continuity determination means determines the continuity of the target. In this instance, when a range to the target is less than a predetermined value continuity of the target is identified with a lateral position difference or when larger than the predetermined value continuity could be identified with an angular difference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
