<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce influence of failure of equipment of a one-side collection area upon the whole system in a toll collection system of a tandem lane form wherein a first collection area and a second collection area are disposed in one lane in a state that the first collection area is disposed on an upstream side. <P>SOLUTION: A first toll collection machine and a second toll collection machine of the first collection area disposed with the equipment for performing toll collection by cash and an IC card and the second collection area disposed with the equipment for performing the toll collection by the cash and the IC card makes a collector selectively input an instruction of a changeover of a duty start/end to the first collection area or the second collection area, and imparts the instruction to an ETC lane controller. The ETC lane controller performs control such that the changeover of the duty start/end of the first collection area or the second collection area is performed according to the instruction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
