PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor capable of attaining high dimensional accuracy, easy assembly, and high performance. SOLUTION: This motor is composed of a bearing 3 for rotatably supporting a rotor shaft 4, a cylindrical bearing holder 2 in which the bearing 3 is fitted inside and a stator core 81 is fixed at an outer-periphery portion, and a base plate 1 for fixing the bearing holder 2. The bearing holder 2 is of a bottomless cylindrical shape whose both ends are open, and a holder fixing recess 11 in which one end of the bearing holder 2 is fitted in a press-fit state is formed at the base plate 1. The holder fixing recess 11 has a bottom 11A facing the one edge surface of the rotor shaft 4, and seals the one edge opening portion of the bearing holder 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
