PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus for notifying a user of a display size of a photographed image when the photographed image is reproduced on a PC. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is provided with a control means 129 that displays on a display means 123, an external display means menu OSD 402 representing a resolution of an external display means and a photographed image OSD 403 representing a photographed image resolution displayed on the external display means.
