PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a versatile and epoch-making flexural scale, very convenient not only for usual length measurement and setting-out, but also for angle measurement, angle plotting, narrow angle reading on a specified sloped face, thick wall setting out, and a compass function. SOLUTION: This flexural scale is engraved with: a graduation line 1i for measuring a wide angle in each part of longitudinal 1a and transverse 1b sides and for plotting the wide angle; an angular graduation 1l for measuring narrow anglesθin the specified sloped faces 16b, 18b, 20b, using specified points P1, P2 in the longitudinal 1a side while using combinedly with the transverse 1b side; an angle graduation line 1o; a thick-wall setting-out graduation 1p with a thickness of wall board 8 and a thickness of a light steel frame 9 in a construction field engraved with a dimension interval same to those in the construction field; and the center hole 10 and a hole 11 for a writing tool to draw a circle 22 as a compass engraved for various radii.
