PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire gripper, compact and having good appearance. SOLUTION: This wire gripper 1 includes: a gripper body 10 having a grip mechanism locked in an arbitrary position of a wire; and a coiled spring 30 connected to the gripper body. The gripper body 10 is housed in the interior of a coil of the coiled spring 30. The gripper body 1 is thus housed in the coiled spring 30, whereby the whole can be shortened so that the gripper body 10 does not appear on the surface too much to achieve a high design nature. Further, the gripper body includes the grip mechanism locked in an arbitrary position of the wire, whereby tension of the wire can be simply adjusted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
