PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unlocking key having high degree of freedom in design by increasing degree of freedom in arrangement of a connection part to be completed by inserting a connection body such as a mechanical key. SOLUTION: This electronic key device has a key case 3 storing an electronic circuit including a communication means for electronic authentication with a lock controller in an inside space formed by two case constituent bodies 1, 2 and a case mounting body 4 mounted detachably in the key case 3. Insertion passages 5, 6 arranged in a row in the direction of mounting of the case mounting body 4 are formed in each case constituent body 1, 2. A protruding part 7 passing through the insertion passages 5, 6 when mounting the case mounting body 4 in the key case 3 and pushing out wall faces of each insertion passage 5, 6 in the direction in which the case constituent bodies 1, 2 approach mutually for each other while the case mounting body 4 is mounted in the key case 3 to connect the case constituent bodies 1, 2 mutually is provided in the case mounting body 4.
