PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifouling coating which gives coating films having good crack resistance and antifouling property for long period. SOLUTION: This antifouling coating comprises an acrylic resin having at least one group represented by the general formula (1) (X is a group represented by the general formula (2); (n) is 0 or 1; Y is a hydrocarbon; M is a divalent metal; A is the residue of a monobasic organic acid) on the side chains of the resin, wherein 5 to 100 mol.% of the organic acid residue is originated from a cyclic organic acid, and the cyclic organic acid is a naphthenic acid having an acid value of 120 to 190.
