METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF SUBSTANCES SIMULTANEOUSLY, AND SUPPORT FOR USE IN THE METHOD

Disclosed is a method for simultaneously determining substances. The method is characterized in that two or more target substances (e.g., proteins) in a biological component can be determined simultaneously based on the state of the expression of the target substances. Also disclosed is an improved microtiter plate which is advantageously applicable to the method. The method comprises: immobilizing multiple partner substances (e.g., antibodies) for the target substances on a substrate; mixing a labeled reference sample which has been labeled with a labeling marker with a sample to be determined or, alternatively, mixing an analyte to be determined with a reference analyte, wherein proteins in both of the analytes have been dye-immobilized with different dyes and the mixing is performed at a given ratio, particularly preferably at a ratio of 7:3; contacting the mixed analyte with the antibodies immobilized on the substrate to cause the binding between the target substances with the partner substances, thereby yielding conjugates; and qualitatively or quantitatively determining the desired two or more target substances simultaneously based on the conjugates. The microtiter plate is adapted to substantially eliminate the production of an edge effect or the formation of air bubbles and largely reduce the amount of a sample to be used.
