PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retransmission method which reduces power consumption for a radio apparatus and its program wherein the service life of a battery of a wireless key or a cellular phone is extended without impairing a function (security function) of preventing an electronic apparatus such as a cellular phone from being left behind or stolen.

SOLUTION: In the radio apparatus, a radio device A (2) transmits information to a radio device B (7) in quadrary FSK modulation, the radio device B (7) returns a response to the radio device A (2) upon receiving the information, and the information is retransmitted in binary FSK modulation if the response is not received from the radio device B (7).
