<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic imaging and displaying system for preventing a displayed stereoscopic image (stereoscopic picture) from being turned into a reversely viewed image whose depth is reverse to that of a subject, and to provide a stereoscopic imaging apparatus and a stereoscopic image generating apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The stereoscopic imaging and displaying system S includes: the stereoscopic imaging apparatus 1 that images the element image group of a subject; and a stereoscopic image display device 3 that displays the element image group as a stereoscopic image. The stereoscopic imaging apparatus 1 includes a mirror plate 5, an objective lens 7, and an imaging element 9.
