<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment method and a device therefor where tempering treatment of high quality can be performed, while not only the heating of one work but also the continuous heating of many works can be performed, and a uniform hardness distribution can be obtained without depending on the shape of works, and further, the variation of hardness is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A work 6 is heated to a required temperature by superheated steam 5, and is thereafter subjected to a cooling stage (cooling by a cooling means 8). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
