PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an acrylic synthetic resin plate having surface coated with a high-quality resin film by uniformness and stabilization of physical properties of the resin film polymerized and cured by ultraviolet light irradiation. SOLUTION: In a method for producing a resin film by irradiating a thin film composed of a resin film raw material containing a polymerizable compound and a photopolymerization initiator with ultraviolet light and polymerizing and curing the thin film, the thin film is irradiated with ultraviolet light by arranging the length directions of cylindrical ultraviolet irradiation lamps installed in an ultraviolet irradiation apparatus parallel to a thin film surface, arranging three or more ultraviolet irradiation lamps in parallel and further arranging these ultraviolet irradiation lamps so that maximum value of integrated quantity of light of the ultraviolet light measured in any place on the thin film becomes≤110% of minimum value of the integrated quantity of the light in respect to integrated quantity of light of ultraviolet light irradiated from the ultraviolet light irradiation lamps to the thin film and polymerizing and curing the thin film to form the resin film.
