<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for removing specific tendencies of an electric wire by which the specific tendencies of the electric wire can satisfactorily be removed over the wide range from the thick electric wire to the slender electric wire. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for removing the specific tendencies of the electric wire, by which the winding tendency and curling tendency of the electric wire are corrected and removed by straightening rollers, is provided with: a first electric wire tendency removal device 12, which is arranged at the upstream side in the advancing direction of the electric wire W and has the straightening rollers 21, 26 having large outer diameter thereby largely bending and ironing the electric wire; and a second electric wire tendency removal device 13 which is arranged at the downstream side of the first electric wire tendency removal device 12 and has the straightening rollers 31, 36 having small outer diameter thereby correcting the deformation in the electric wire by the large straightening rollers of the first electric wire tendency removal device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
