<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer control device and an electronic apparatus that can implement appropriate power management control while reducing power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The data transfer control device for data transfer via a serial ATA bus includes a transport controller 10 supplied with and operated on a clock CLK2 generated by a physical layer circuit 100 according to a reference clock CLK1, and a link controller 50 supplied with and operated on the clocks CLK1 and CLK2.
