<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunctional composite system, a composite resource management method and a program, through which assignment of resources to be used by functions can be easily managed based on the priority conformed to the functions while collectively ensuring or releasing all resources to be used by the functions by use of resources managed in resource bases by at least one resource management form of a plurality management forms. <P>SOLUTION: A resource management 30 executes resource assignment in response to a request from an application 38.
