<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance appealing power to players by improving the visual recognizability of a screen in standby for the players of a variable display device capable of displaying three-dimensional images. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with an auxiliary light source which is positioned behind a backlight and irradiates a liquid crystal panel as a whole with a diffused light without passing through a polaroid filter, a demonstration image display control means which displays a demonstration image preset corresponding to the standby state for players in a display area and an auxiliary light source control means. When the display of identifying information is switched over to the display of the demonstration image, the auxiliary light source control means turns on the auxiliary light source after the switch of the display, whereas when the display of the demonstration image is switched over to the display of the identifying information, the auxiliary light source is turned off before the switch of the display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
