PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller capable of performing seek control by using a two-degree-of-freedom system capable of supplying a target position trajectory, a disk device, a seek trajectory generating method for generating such a target position trajectory, a controller capable of accelerating seek time of a head even when such a two-degree-of-freedom control system is configured, or the like. SOLUTION: A waveform generator 312 generates each trajectory of acceleration, speed and position from the seek time. Respective trajectories are respectively multiplied by a gain, and a first adder 316 combines the respective trajectories. The combined trajectory is multiplied by seek distance, and further, a target position trajectory to be given to a two-degree-of-freedom control system of a post stage is obtained through a FIR filter 318.
