PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity storing and conveying unit for an automatic vending machine, for satisfactorily reducing the falling energy of the commodity having different weights, shapes, friction forces, etc., and satisfactorily conveying the commodity in an appropriate posture. SOLUTION: On a guide wall face forming a storing and conveying path 4, a movable guide 13 is disposed rotatably across a protrusion posture protruding inside the storing and conveying path 4 and a retract posture allowing the commodity to flow downward by retracting from the storing and conveying path 4. When the commodity is positioned on the protrusion posture side, rather than the retreat posture side, relative to the above movable guide 13, a magnet 30 is provided as a suppression force application means for suppressing the commodity 2 from flowing downward, with large force via the movable guide 13.
