PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sending errors of mails for internal use only or the like, concerning an mail sending error prevention system for preventing sending errors when sending mail. SOLUTION: The mail sending error prevention system includes: a first table for storing a history of frequencies of words in the mail sent in association with the security level of the mail; a second table for storing the number of times that the mail is sent to a receiver 2 in association with the security level of the receiver; a means 12 for referring to the first table when the mail is sent and determining the security level of the mail; a means 13 for referring to the second table when the mail is sent and determining the security level of the receiver of the mail; a means for comparing the security level of the mail determined with the security level of the receiver of the mail determined; and a means for sending or stopping the sending of the mail according to the comparison result.
