PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink tank which can agitate ink contained efficiently and to provide a recorder which can record a high-definition image by ink of a uniform density. SOLUTION: An ink supply port 60 for supplying ink drawn from an ink outlet opening 64 located in an ink storage chamber R out of a tank body 10 and stirring members 20A and 20B for agitating the ink in the ink storage chamber R are provided in the ink storage chamber R. The stirring members 20A and 20B are supported rotatably by a leg provided in the ink storage chamber R, and a pivot fulcrum of the stirring member can move along with legs 15 and 16.
