PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of easily preventing lubricating oil in a housing for housing a transmission mechanism from leaking to the outside for a long time. SOLUTION: The electric power steering device comprises a transmission mechanism A which has a worm 2 for inputting a driving force of an electric motor 1 and a worm wheel for outputting the driving force, and transmits the driving force to a steering means 4, a housing 5 which houses the transmission mechanism A and has through holes 51, 53 through which a shaft 2b of the worm 2 and a steering shaft 43 for supporting the worm wheel 3 are passed, sealing members 14, 15 for sealing the through holes 51, 53, and flexible ring bodies 17, 18 containing a coagulant for coagulating the lubricating oil leaking to the outside from the through holes 51, 53, preventing the lubricating oil in the housing 5 from leaking to the outside.
