PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive apparatus with a printer which can form desired print clearly by confirming the position of the level surface of a disk precisely. SOLUTION: The disk drive apparatus 1 includes a rotation means 11 which rotates the disk D in a prescribed direction; an optical pickup apparatus 13 which records information on the information recording surface of the disk and or reproduces the information recorded on the information recording surface; and an ink-jet type printer 30 which performs printing by jetting ink to the level surface of the disk D. The disk drive apparatus 1 is provided with a control means 40 for controlling the printer based on detection of a prescribed signal recorded previously on the disk. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
