PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of working oil even when a flexible hose to supply and discharge the working oil to and from a hydraulic cylinder to control a water jet propulsion device is ruptured. SOLUTION: This water jet propulsion device to supply and discharge the working oil to and from the hydraulic cylinder from and to the vessel inside by connecting the hydraulic cylinder and the vessel inside by the flexible hose in an exposed state is constituted by mounting the hydraulic cylinder to control the water jet propulsion device on the water jet propulsion device mounted in the rear of a stern transom part. Additionally, the leaked oil collecting structure of the water jet propulsion device constitutes its characteristic feature of covering the outside of the flexible hose in a double structure with a leaked oil collecting hose to store the working oil leaked from the flexible hose and connecting a space between the flexible hose and the leaked oil collecting hose to a leaked oil collecting tank provided on the vessel inside.
