PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary die cutter capable of suppressing heating of a bearer portion and preventing cutting failure due to heat expansion of the bearer portion even if used for a long time. SOLUTION: A die roll 20 having a cutting edge die 21 projecting from an outer peripheral surface 20A and an anvil roll 30 whose outer peripheral surface 30A is formed to be smooth are disposed so as to make axes M, N parallel with each other and the outer peripheral surfaces 20A, 30A opposite to each other. By inserting work between the die roll 20 and the anvil roll 30, the cutting edge die 21 is rotated and pressed on the work and subjected to machining. On the outer peripheral surface 20A of the die roll 20, the bearer portion 22 projecting from the outer peripheral surface 20A toward outside in a diameter direction and sliding with the outer peripheral surface 30A of the anvil roll 30.
