PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for recovering dyestuffs contained in dyestuff waste water to be discharged when a nondestructive test is performed on ceramics and to provide a dyestuff adsorbent. SOLUTION: The method for recovering dyestuffs for the nondestructive test of ceramics comprises the steps of: introducing dyestuff waste water into an adsorbent column packed with the dyestuff absorbent to adsorb dyestuffs in dyestuff waste water; stopping the introduction of the dyestuff waste water into the adsorbent column before the amount of the dyestuffs to leak out of the adsorbent column is increased; and introducing an organic solvent for desorbing dyestuffs into the adsorbent column to desorb the adsorbed dyestuffs, discharge the desorbed dyestuffs from the adsorbent column and recover dyestuffs and the organic solvent for desorbing dyestuffs. The system for recovering dyestuffs for the nondestructive test of ceramics and the dyestuff adsorbent are provided. As a result, a technique for recovering dyestuffs in dyestuff waste water in high efficiency can be provided, by which colored sludge is not generated, a load to be imposed on the environment can be decreased, the cost of disposal can be saved and the dyestuff-recovered waste water can be reused as various kinds of industrial water.
