PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam generator capable of preventing the discharge of gas from continuing after the discharge of foam is terminated by closing a foam mixing valve after the discharge of the foam is terminated. SOLUTION: A pilot valve 15 for controlling opening/closing of the foam mixing valve 10 is arranged so as to perform a first action in accordance with the start of a starting means connected to the pilot valve 15 and a second action in accordance with the detection of reduction in a liquid to a prescribed amount in a compressed liquid tank 6.
