PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniature-garden device gentle to plants and bringing spiritual comfort and a sense of satisfaction in growing plants while taking time and labor for maintenance, the environment of which can be arranged in accordance with a time zone for actually appreciating the plants. SOLUTION: The miniature-garden device has the following structure: a device main body 1 is formed into a boxy shape with its top face open; a soil housing part 2 housing soil for planting plants is provided inside the device main body 1; a temperature managing part 9 managing the temperature of the soil housed in the soil housing part 2 is arranged at the bottom part of the device main body 1; a plant growth light 5 illuminating the plants to grow them is set above the device main body 1; the device main body is provided with a temperature control part 12 controlling the temperature managing part 9, a lighting control part 15 controlling lighting of the plant growth light 5, and a changeover switch 14 changing the control of the soil temperature according to seasons.
