The degradation of ferment-inhibiting materials in a fluid for ethanol production, comprises supplying microbiotic mixture of photosynthetic active microorganisms, light emitting microorganisms, enzymes, trace element, polysaccharides, alginate derivatives, other microorganisms, hops and/or hops extracts into the fluid. The fluid is whey, must of grapes or fruit, or mash from barley, and contains food and/or food residues. The fruit wine and/or the decomposed barley material are pretreated with the microbiotic mixture. Independent claims are included for: (1) method for the production of ethanol; and (2) an arrangement of bioreactors for ethanol production.
