An injury preventive system of a neck for a seat in a vehicle is provided to protect the neck of a driver by supporting the neck of the driver with lifting up and moving forward a headrest at a collision and restricting relative motion between the upper body and the neck of the driver. A neck injury preventive system for a seat in a vehicle includes a seat back frame(10), an armature assembly(30), an actuating spring(40), a stopper(50), and a stopper release unit. The lower part of the armature assembly is connected to vertical frames(11) through a turning bracket(20), and a headrest placed in a headrest rod storage part is lifted up and moved forward by moving up the armature assembly in moving the turning bracket backward. The actuating spring is mounted between the vertical frame and the turning bracket to move the turning bracket backward, and the stopper is mounted in the middle of an upper frame(12) to restrict upward movement of the armature assembly. The stopper release unit releases the stopper by pressure of a back spring(5) at a collision. The stopper is formed of a U-shaped bracket, installed in a mounting bracket(52), and turned around a fixing shaft(54). A return spring(56) is connected to the mounting bracket and the stopper, and formed in the fixing shaft to fix the stopper. |
