A flip module comprising an electromagnet and a display device using the same are provided to display continuously desired numerals, characters, and symbols with low power consumption by using electrical and structural characteristics of a flip module using a permanent magnet and a flip module. A rotating body includes a cylindrical permanent magnet and a segment(2) coupled with the cylindrical permanent magnet. An electromagnet includes an electromagnet core(6) which is wound around the rotating body. A first coil and a second coil are wound to opposite directions to each other around the electromagnetic core. The first coil and the second coil are connected with a common drawing line(1a) at one contact point in order to receive common power. The power is selectively applied to a first drawing line(1b) of the first coil and a second drawing line(1c) of the second coil in order to rotate forwardly or backwardly the rotating body by changing the polarity of the electromagnet. The segment is flop up or flop down by rotating forwardly or backwardly the rotating body. |
