An electric brake system including a link structure in a vehicle is provided to improve the responsiveness, and to boost braking force by controlling the power of an electric brake quantitatively. A first link(2) is connected to a piston(10) reciprocating a pad to be contacted to a disk, and a second link(3) is connected to the first link through a pin(5). The pin is connected to a slide pin(7) reciprocated by a solenoid valve(8). The first link and the second link are turned by moving the pin, and the disk is contacted to the pad for braking by moving the piston linearly. The solenoid valve is connected to a control unit, and the opening degree of the solenoid valve is controlled according to current or voltage from the control unit. Force applied to the slide pin is controlled by current or voltage from the control unit, and braking torque is generated by pushing the pad with the force from the slide pin.
