<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a retail dealer to easily utilize market data for analyzing market trend by rationally and highly precisely associating two classification systems different in classification in classifying articles into a plurality of categories by using a computer. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for associating two classification systems different in classification in classifying articles into a plurality of categories, a computer acquires information relating to the categories of the both classification systems, and finds out the category of 1 in one classification system and the category of 1 in the other classification system where the same articles are classified based on the acquired information, and decides whether or not the duplication rate of the articles classified into the both categories of 1 found out as mentioned above is larger than a duplication rate for decision (step S64), and when the duplication rate is larger than that for decision as the result of decision, the categories of 1 are associated and stored in a table (step S65). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
