<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device capable of obtaining a braking characteristic suitable for at both sports traveling and usual traveling. <P>SOLUTION: At sports traveling that an attenuation force of a damper is set to a high degree to be desired to enhance the turning performance of a vehicle, a jumping amount, i.e., an amount for rapidly standing-up the braking force is set to a large degree relative to an increase in the stepping force of a brake pedal and the nose dive of a vehicle body at an initial stage of braking can be suppressed since the attenuation force of the damper is set to the high degree even if the standing-up of the braking force suitable for the sports traveling is ensured. Further, even if the attenuation force of the damper is set to a low degree at usual traveling that the riding comfortability of the vehicle is desired to be enhanced, the nose dive of the vehicle body at the initial stage of braking can be suppressed since the jumping amount is set to a small degree. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
