PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool having a permanent magnet commutator motor provided with a stator yoke at a low cost of manufacture, by eliminating necessity for replacing a manufacture machine in the case of fabricating various stator yokes with an axial length different. SOLUTION: The permanent magnet commutator motor has a stator 10 and a rotor 20, the stator 10 has a stator yoke 11 and a field magnet 12. The field magnet 12 is fixed to an internal periphery of the stator yoke 11 formed in almost cylindrical shape. The stator yoke 11 is constituted by coaxially laminating a plurality of plate-shaped annular units 11C, each annular unit 11C, in a caulking part provided therein, is fixed by caulking to be connected to each other. In the case of manufacture, axial length of the stator yoke 11 can be optionally changed with axial thickness of the annular unit 11C made as a minimum unit. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
