MOBILE DEVICE AND POSITION REGISTERING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile device and a position registering method which can rapidly register a position when communication restriction is released, even if a situation in which packet communication is restricted occurs and position registration is not possible. SOLUTION: The mobile device 1 includes a packet time counting section 13 for counting a predetermined time; a position registering section 16 for executing position registration for a packet communication management server 2; a time count control section 12 for controlling the packet time counting section 13 to temporarily stop a time counting operation when the packet communication management server 2 is restricting communication; and a position registration control section 15 for causing the position registering section 16 to execute position registration for the packet communication management server 2, and controlling the position registration section 16 to execute the position registration for the packet communication management server 2 when the communication restriction is released in the packet communication management server 2 and when the time counting operation of the packet time counting section 13 has been stopped.
