PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document categorizing auxiliary apparatus, a document categorizing auxiliary method, and a document categorizing auxiliary program, which create a key word list in the order of score. SOLUTION: A document categorizing auxiliary apparatus 200 provides a document manager 101 with the keyword list in the order of score when the document manager 101 performs category setting operation which would be a large load for the document manager 101 in advance. Since the document manager 101 knows the keyword list strongly relating to documents, the document manager 101 uses information of the list for reference and can perform the category setting operations. Therefore, as compared with the case that the document manager 101 starts from a situation without any information about a document to understand the contents of the document and performs the category setting operation, the amount of labor of the document manager 101 can be reduced.
