PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic detection circuit which measures an accurate magnetic field intensity with a simple circuit constitution, and also to provide a magnetic detection method. SOLUTION: A value Vcl is used as a measured value of a Hall element 1, which is determined by adding a difference Vo1 between two outputs from the Hall element 1 acquired by a differential amplifier 4 when either of the two outputs from the Hall element 1 is grounded by closing a switch 5 to a difference Vo2 between the two outputs from the Hall element 1 acquired by the differential amplifier 4 when the other output is grounded by closing a switch 6, and then by subtracting therefrom a difference VoO between the two outputs from the Hall element 1 acquired by the differential amplifier 4 when the switches 5, 6 are opened.
