PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device which measures each accurate distance, even when a speed difference between a plurality of close low reflection objects and high reflection objects is large. SOLUTION: A CPU 18 sets a gain of a variable gain amplifier 16 at the maximum gain, indicates laser floodlighting, and stores light receiving intensity in a memory 19. Thereafter, the CPU 18 sets the gain of the variable gain amplifier 16 at a low gain, indicates laser floodlighting, and stores light receiving intensity in the memory 19. The light receiving intensity at the low gain time is multiplied by a value of the ratio between the largest gain and the low gain, and the multiplication value is compared with the light receiving intensity at the largest gain time, and the maximum value is adopted as a synthetic light receiving intensity.
