PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding cup wheel which is high in grinding efficiency and long in service life. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the grinding cup wheel 1, a plurality of slitted grooves are formed in a plane of a peripheral portion of a disk-like rotary body, such that one end of each slitted groove is opened to a peripheral surface of the plane, and a square columnar grinding tips 2 each having a grinding cutting surface are fitted into the respective slitted groove such that part of a front side and a rear side of each grinding tip 2 protrude in a rotating direction of the grinding tip 2. Then at least three surfaces of the grinding tip 2 making contact with the slitted groove are bonded and secured to the same. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
