<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna switching control method by which connection ratio is increased by correctly selecting an antenna with high reception power of desired wave. <P>SOLUTION: During intermittent standby of radio equipment, a control circuit measures an RSSI, adds difference (recorded in a storage device) between RSCP measured at the start of communication or during the communication and the RSSI as a correction value to determine antenna switching. At the start of communication. the control circuit measures the RSCP to determine switching to an antenna with proper reception power of the desired wave.
