<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image quality from deteriorating by preventing additives from adhering to a regulation blade during image forming operation. <P>SOLUTION: A developing bias power source 25 applies voltage to a developing roller 17. A regulation bias power source 26 applies voltage to a blade member 20. A voltage control part 21 controls so that a voltage, having absolute value larger than that of the voltage applied to the developing roller 17 is applied to the blade member 20, when a toner image is formed on a photoreceptor drum 11 associated with the image forming operation, and that a voltage having absolute value smaller than that of the voltage applied to the developing roller 17 is applied to the blade member 20 during a part of the time at image non-forming operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
