<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which has a heat fixing unit and enables the user to choose the implementation of dew condensation prevention function as desired. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device incorporating a heat fixing unit 1 has a dew preventive means 3 selectively working on dew condensation of the moisture that is evaporated from a sheet 2 after passing the heat fixing unit 1, a dewing condition discriminator 4 to predict the occurrence of dew condensation inside the device, an informing means 5 to inform the results 4a obtained by the dewing condition discriminator 4, and a selector 6 to manually make the dew preventive means 3 active or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
