<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system which can print a supply information list even under a state in which there is some sort of trouble in a supply or other functional sections, and a normal printing is impossible. <P>SOLUTION: When a supply near end is generated (S110; Y), a supply information list is printed. In this case, a paper discharging process is not executed (S111), and at the point when a supply end is generated (S112; Y), the paper discharging process is executed (S113), and then, an error process is performed (S114). In this case, as a method for keeping the printed supply information list without performing the paper discharging process, a method wherein a path which is not used at the present time from among carrying paths in this printing system is temporarily used can be considered.
