PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily confirm whether a grading result, a totaling result, or a recognition result about entry contents by handwriting is correct or not, or a part having an error. SOLUTION: In an automatic grading system, when displaying an image of a read answer sheet on a display screen, a superposing position determination part 43 determines a vicinity of a score column or an answerer information column that is a handwriting entry area of the answer sheet, superposition part 44 superposes a processing result (a grading result) of automatic grading processing and an acquisition result from the answer sheet in a determined superposing position, and a display part 45 displays it. The user confirming display contents thereof can compare the entry information actually handwritten on the answer sheet, and the acquisition result and the grading result from the image of the answer sheet.
