PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel with a rotation speed detector which is lighter in weight and more compact, prevents a foreign matter from entering a detection part, and improves endurance and reliability. SOLUTION: The bearing device for the wheel with the rotation speed detector comprises a magnetic encoder 23 fitted externally onto an inner ring 6, a fitting ring 13 mounted on the end of an outward member 4, and a sensor holder 12 united therewith and comprising a holding part 14 wherein a rotation speed sensor 16 facing the magnetic encoder 23 is embedded. The bearing device arranges a seal 11 via the sensor holder 12 on an inboard side of the magnetic encoder 23, a terminal 17 of the speed sensor 16 is raised up outward in the radial direction, and is connected to a harness 18 led out in a circumferential direction along the end of the outward member 4. Thereby, the surrounding along the speed sensor 16 can be simplified, and the holding part 14 and the harness 18 can be prevented from overhanging from the outward member 4 to a radial outward side.
